A Journey into Thought & Spirit

Sunspiration #31: Can't Have Yin without the Yang

Is the USA getting more polarized? Or is it just my analysis?

Buckle buckaroos, 2017 is going to be an astrologically intense year. Why is that important? I believe we are susceptible to universal energy and knowing that aides us to seek more balance in life.

Right now we are seeing this push, specifically from the far left to stop anything that revolves around hate, "fascism," or "anyone evil." Now, the way they perceive certain figures is through looking through that specific lens in life. When in fact, other people who see things from a different point of view see these figures as the light in the dark. Who's right? Who's wrong? In some ways it'll be a never-ending battle because hate, violence and evil will always be a part of humanity. It's within us, which is being exposed on both sides.

The point of today's sunspiration is that everything in life revolves around balance. This planet is an incarnation of polarities. What does that mean? Everything, mainly energy, has the complete opposite energy. And men and women are the perfect example. We cannot populate humanity without both (from a natural perspective, not from an artificial perspective).

We need to embrace the duality within us, and once you realize that hate, violence, war and evil is never going anywhere, you can best prepare your mindset for dark times. Understanding this knowledge forces us to do good and better things in the world. It's a ripple effect. You enhance someone's life, and they enhance someone else's and someone else's and so on.

That is the most powerful change to humanity. Rise above your own evil and balance your energies. Then our planet will become a better place. You cannot have yin without the yang.

As always, inspired by the sun,
Elizabeth

February is the second month in the Gregorian calendar. According to Wikipedia, "The Roman month Februarius was named after the Latin term februum, which means purification, via the purification ritual Februa held on February 15 (full moon) in the old lunar Roman calendar." In ancient Rome, festivals were held to celebrate "the Month of Purification."

In Polish and Ukrainian, February  is called luty or лютий, meaning the month of ice or hard frost.

And this month, why not purify, and warm, yourself with the sweet fruit and plants from nature?

Hibiscus and rose hip are popular tea combinations. The semi-sweet and earthly robust combination provides numerous health benefits.

Hibiscus may be used a laxative, but is known for treating loss of appetite, colds, heart and nerve issues, stomach irritations and circulation disorders.

Picture
Rosehip is an excellent source of Vitamin C, A and is a known cancer-fighting food. This flower fruit has been used since the stone age.

Between the two, this tea is a purifier, specifically for the heart as the color red fuels the life energy of our heart, blood and lungs. Interestingly, this tea is a perfect alternative for Valentine's Day.

Food is information. Skip the detox pills and go straight to nature, you're body's internal signals will recognize the wisdom that comes from whole foods.

Hello Dear Friends,

How is life? On an individual and collective level, we are entering a new dynamic. Things are shifting and changing, and it seems to be happening at the speed of light. Things that are happening now are happening for a reason.

Some claim it's for all of us to purge our hate and negativity and others think we are reverting back to the olden days. We all have a story and it's time to bring in the light.

Whether you are stressed out, or unable to adapt to change, join me with host Jim Kellner for a quick chat about stress management and adapting to individual and collective change.

The most important thing right now is that we need to SLOW down and take a step back to digest and absorb things without falling into the trap of the dramatic mindset that the mainstream realm encourages.

Feel free to ring in to ask any questions that you may have at 619.924.0744 anytime between 1:00-1:25pm.

Tune in to the Adapting to Changes podcast here!

See you on the podcast sphere tomorrow!
