Corn on the cob is one of the best parts of summer. The sweetness of the kernel topped with savory butter is a win-win combination. However, it is nice to enjoy corn off the cob as well.
Cobbed corn kernels are as bright as the sun. These powder pink Gerbera daisies matched perfectly with a 1980's pink flower skirt that I found. Yellow in the core and pretty pink petals, the inspiration for a more summery pasta came to fruition. Buttery, garlicky and savory. YUM!
Even Gerberas spiritually signify happiness. With the love for pasta and corn, why not try something new? "The year of jubilee has come;Gather the gifts of Earth with equal hand;Henceforth ye too may share the birthright soil,The corn, the wine, and all the harvest-home."
