A Journey into Thought & Spirit

Sunspiration #129: The Power of Prayer

The holiday is a time for cheer, but for some it's a time of many tears. For some, the holidays is a season of loneliness as people don't have family, friends, or even a home. Today I was part of a 24-hour prayer circle, where I prayed from 11am-12pm, sending light, love and healing energy to many around the planet, and asking God to work through them.

I have come to believe that in this digital age, we need help from the spiritual realm. Our body is a temple and our minds can live in heaven or hell. Some can navigate life easily, but for most we need God's help. We need to stop worrying about the "how" and apply action, knowing that God will help us in this life.

Faith and hope are necessary to aide us through the hardship. You have to believe and understand that things happen in divine timing. The first prayer starts with you.

Sunspiration #128: Everyday Should be Filled with Love + Joy

Charles Dickens was a smart man. Maybe I'm biased since we share the same birthdate and I continuously find our analytical skills on the same wave length of looking at society through a similar lens.

Dickens meandered throughout the poor parts of the city, and on Christmas recognized the aura of joy that flowed in the air in the poorer neighborhoods. He realized that the joy and happiness that Christmas brings shouldn't last for one day. But, it should be a spirit that lasts everyday.

Harder said than done, what can you do to keep the Christmas spirit alive throughout the year??

3 Ways to Change for 2020

Can you believe its almost 20 years into the new millennial?

2020. Yes wow 2020. And with that it's time to put down the excuses and wake up to the reality of change. So many people crave change on this planet, but most people are SO resistant to changing themselves. They want a revolution and the government to change, but the change starts with yourself.

Everyone wants to blame the president as narcissist, but fail to realize that they are just as narcissistic, self-absorbed and many men are just as abusive and womanizers as the billionaire dogs at the top of the totem pole. He is a human being just like you. And you reading this have the choice and the wisdom to evolve or not.

In this world of individuality, the revolution starts with you, and changing yourself. And facing your shadow. And NEVER stopping at improving yourself.

So many people want change to happen like the click of a button, but it doesn't work like that. Change takes time. It takes time to find the right therapist, or the right yoga teacher, or the right meditation track, or the right pastor. These things take time and experience. So many people try once, fail and then give up and cycle in negative belief systems.

As an Aquarian, trust me that the change starts with you. Society has sold you many many lies and it's time to STOP BLAMING society and other people and TAKE CHARGE of your life.

But only you can do it. I've written in other blogs and Youtube videos that being passive will get you no where. It takes a while to overcome shyness and passivity, but its 2020 people, it's time to walk forward and take care of your issues, life, personality, wounds, trauma etc.

All you need to do is focus on one-percent changes. Thought + Action = Results. Sometimes it takes various methods of action in order to get the "right" results.
Here are three ways to change this new year:
  • Step One: start with a list of the qualities, struggles or trials and tribulations that need evolvement. Sometimes just thinking about change, is the first step to change. Be honest with yourself. During this time, take self accountability, and realize your faults or contributions to failed relationships/projects. Ask yourself what are the patterns happening in your life? Do you sabotage every relationship that enters your life? Are you too passive? Do you have addictions?  Do you have low self-esteem? Write down what your soul is calling or screaming for. Say you're in a toxic job, and your soul is crying inside, maybe it's time to try to change teams, or potentially look for a new job. It may not happen immediately as divine timing does have it's merit, but you'll need to work on step two.
  • Step Two: Take action. Are you too stressed at work and feel the need to relax and do yoga?  Start looking for classes. Start contacting therapists or a life coach. Start looking for blogs and Youtube Channels that lift you up. Life is like the stock market. It has highs and lows and moments of peaks and valleys. Change is about navigating through reality and life's challenges. It's not about living a perfect life and getting from Point A to Point B on a straight trajectory. Many people can start change, but maintaining change or sticking to a goal is the hardest part for most. Stop worrying about the "how." Let the divine help you while you put action in the real earth plane.
  • Step Three: Be the Ripple Effect. How do you want society to change? Be that change. If you don't like being ghosted, stop ghosting people. If you don't like passive behavior, stop being overly passive. Do you want more kindness? Start helping people. Start living your life in the way you want to see society shaped. This is the hardest part for most, as many humans are hypocritical. Cleaning out the cob webs or facing your shadow is important. The spiritual community has these battles with Christians as Christians are waiting for Christ to come back to earth, meanwhile spiritual people are saying that person is YOU, change yourself with christ consciousness. Regardless of who's right and who's wrong, there is NOTHING wrong with changing yourself and improving yourself while waiting for Jesus to come. OWN your life. Having street smarts is wise, and the ego can get you out of bad situations with sheep hiding in wolf clothing, but living life full in the ego is some of the major issues and problems of the globe today.

The great thing about change today is that you don't need an abundance of wealth. There are so many free community classes, sliding scale counseling, free advice on blogs and Youtube. There is a way to change without blowing your budget. Change is not easy. It's a journey, not a final destination. Just know that there are countless tools and resources to help you along the way.

Sunspiration #127: Blossom with Grace

I've mentioned this before, but it seems that social media has changed human behavior. It is common to see the "inner monster," or the ego, explode with their opinion, perspective and perception.

While analyzing society over the last few years, I believe that humans are not able to absorb information from mass exposure to people, news and the media. And as one notices, most do not communicate with grace and ease.

Grace can be seen as the courteous goodwill or the simple elegance or refinement in attitude and behavior. If we want things to improve in life, we need to touch every human heart with grace to further enhance theripple effect in life.
