Po-tay-toe. Po-tah-toe. Which one's right? Which one's wrong?
Neither. And that's the beauty, and complexity, of life. The media certainly has become a cesspool of negativity & biases, which in someways seems to be dividing us more than uniting us. And this is apparent in politics. Republicans see life one way. The Democrats view life as the other. Who's right? Who's wrong? Neither. With the upcoming election, the way we can move forward as individuals and as a collective is to develop independent thinking. We need to use empathy and remove ourselves from the ego and our own situation to look at the situation / problem from both view points. It's time for people to make peace with other people's perspectives and perceptions. The best results comes from balancing each end of the spectrum and utilizing the strengths of each side.
